1. Go to Wii Options > Wii Settings > Page 2 > Internet > Connection Settings > [Current Connection #]
2. Select "Change settings", then "Auto-obtain DNS", select No and Advanced Settings.
3. Change the Primary DNS to 216.069.185.14 and the secondary DNS to 173.201.071.014.
4. Save the current changes and do a connection test. If the connection test was successful, select "No" to continue.
1. Go back to the Internet section, go to the User Agreement or Agreement/Contact section, then Yes.
2. If you see a light blue background with a My Little Pony character, you did this correctly. Let the exploit load for up to 3 minutes. It is downloading the exploit to your Wii. If nothing happens and you cannot move your cursor, force power off your Wii and try again.
1. You should see a scam warning onscreen, if this was successful. Wait for thirty seconds, then press 1 to continue.
2. When at the HackMii installer, press Continue > Install Homebrew Channel and wait for it to install.
3. Once installed, go back and install BootMii
- If the screem says you can install as boot2, do this, this heavily protects your Wii from ever bricking.
- If your screen says otherwise, install BootMii as an IOS. This doesn't give you as much brick protection as a boot2 installation, but it still allows NAND backups.
4. Once this process is done, exit this installer.
